The Greatest

It has been a really long time since I have posted anything. I have been so busy with school and blah blah blah. My sugars have been great! The last visit I made to Dr. Evan Jones he told me I needed to get to writing my blood sugars down, because I wasn't writing them. Shame on me! I have been writing them, plus mailing my numbers to him. He always mails back comments for that month. It helps me better control my sugar. I had to get new pump clips because my clips break all....the time. Do you ever have that problem with them randomly breaking? Mine do that all the time. Those clips get so expensive though, I can't afford getting new clips every month or so, you know what I mean? But other than my clips breaking all the time, I have been doing great! How has everyone been? I feel that I am rambling I will post more later when I have more time.

It's been a while

Sorry it's been so long since I have posted anything. I have been so busy with life, diabetes & school. Exams are coming up and it has been playing a big role on my sugar. Monday I missed school because my pump started yelling no delivery (like always), but the wierd thing is that my pump had a full resevior of insulin?! My sugar was 511 so again I had to go home! I need to get things under control because missing this much school is not good with exams right around the corner. I am nervous, but I am not ya know? But I have to keep my self from stressing because as soon as I get stressed up my sugar goes! It just seems that there is not enough hours in a day to do everything I want to. My mom keeps getting onto my case because I always forget to check my sugar at lunch, but it seems like I always have something better to do, but my sugar needs to come before anything! Ok back to the day I had to go home early... it took me 5 hours to get it to a normal level. When it did come down though it was 83 which made me feel like crap. I hate that feeling! When you have a high all day then it comes down really fast you feel like you could just pass out and not be back for days. I guess that is one of the things about being a diabetic!

My frustration

Another lousy morning waking up with my injection site out of me and no insulin all night! Sound familiar? Then my sugar is 506 and I have moderate ketones. YUCK! Instead of me being smart and getting insulin in me right away I go ahead and get ready for school. When I know good and well I will not be going to school until I get everything under control. Then it just takes me even longer to get my ketones and the whole works back under control. Ya know what I am talking about? Then it leaves you feeling tired worn out and very hungry! You feel like a piece of crap after that! I finally got it back together in time to go to school. But it came down to 234 but went back up to 323! Figures! It is a on going thing, but you let it do its thing then you get your old self back!

Getting Started

Hi everyone. I am new to this thing so give me a while, but I will get the hang of it. I may not keep things up to date because I have a livejournal, myspace, and this thing to keep up to date, but I will try my best. I also have a busy life with high school and keeping up with my diabetes that its hard to do things like this but I will try my best. Thanks for giving me a little while to get the hang of things around here its very appreciated!
